Breast cancer awareness month is an international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into it cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. Breast cancer affects about one in eight women over the course of lifetime in the U.S. that's about 12%. From an you asked breast cancer death rates are higher than rates for any other cancer, besides lung cancer. Around 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. Most often it is due to genetic mutations that happen as result of aging.

  1. Fantastic connection to the topic Jake! MUCH better writing skill demonstration.

An awkward sentence issue in the first paragraph, links are not active, hashtags don't belong in a blog, and photo lacks source and caption.

  2. Overall really good content! Like Laurie said don't use hashtags in a blog and put a source with the caption under the photo. I like how the post was short and sweat and was very factual.
